Learn to Crochet
If you always wanted to learn to crochet, or have forgotten how....this is the class for you. Learn the basic stitches and practice your skill by making a small project in the process. For ages 10 through adult.

Beginning Knitting
If you are new to knitting or are just a little rusty, then you can take this class as a refresher. Learn the basic stitches of knit & purl while making a simple project. Stop in the store to get your supply list.

Craft/Sewing Day Retreat
Join us for an all day and evening retreat. Leave your cleaning and cooking at home and just bring your project to work on. Bring your own beverage, the meals will be provided along with some snacks to keep your strength up. Bring your own project or ask for one of our retreat projects.

Intermediate Knitting
If you already know the basic stitches, this class will help you read and follow patterns. If you are stuck, bring your project with you and we can get you going again. You can bring your own individual project or we some for you to choose from.

T-Shirt Quilt
Put together a t-shirt quilt with all those t-shirts your kids have collected. The first meeting we will be cutting and planning your quilt, then return on Sat and put it together. Bring a sack lunch & beverage or we will make a subway run for you.

Quilting -101
This class will cover the quilt making from the very beginning. You will learn to cut with a rotary cutter, sew with exact ¼” seams, how to make and arrange your blocks to complete the quilt. We will also cover putting on borders. This is a great class to take if have not made a quilt or just made small project. Our Pattern is called Hop, Skip and Jump. It is a new Triple Expresso pattern that has 3 quilts in one pattern. You decide when your blocks are done which version to make. Stop in to see the sample and pick up your supply list

Basic Sewing
Learn to use a sewing machine. You will learn to thread your machine, winding a bobbin and sew with your own machine, You will cut and sew a simple project that you can complete in class. Sewing machines are available if needed. However you may want to learn on the machine you will be sewing at home

Friday Night/Day Out
Open to sewers, knitters and crafters! Bring any unfinished project and join us for a night/or day of uninterrupted sewing or crafting. Complete your projects in no time. We will be there to help if you need it. The 1st Friday of the month. Bring a beverage. Snacks will be provided. Register by the Thursday before each class.

Superbowl Sunday Sewing
Join us for an afternoon & evening of sewing. Bring your own projects to work on or if you need help on a project, we will be available to help you. Bring your own beverage. Soup, Sandwiches & dessert provided (along with a few snacks) Stay for the afternoon only, or stay though to the evening

Late Summer Bouquet-Appliqué
Join us for this fun appliqué class that will teach the basic appliqué stitch as well as learning to add 3 dimensional flowers to your project. Stop in the shop to get fabric requirements.

Kensington Kaleidoscope
This class will teach you how to make the kaleidoscope blocks with those large print fabrics that you love, but don’t know how to best use them. Let us show how you can turn it into a quilt that will look different every time. Be careful this can be addictive.

Table Runner of the month
Join us the 2nd of the month for the “Table Runner of the Month” Each month will be a different Runner to make. You choose the fabric or use one of our kits. Have a new table runner each month. Do all 3 classes and get the 4th free.

Binding Class
Learn how to put a binding on your quilt. We will teach you how cut, join, press and sew your binding on to make that great looking mitered corner. Bring is your own project, or ask for one of our donations quilts for you to bind.

Every Friday in February -- All Fat Quarters are 30% off. Join the fun in choosing and stocking up on fat quarters. Every Friday in February. This includes any fat quarters in the store that we have cut.

Hand Quilting
Learn the techniques of hand quilting. We will show you the tricks and get you started on your way to completing your quilt. Bring your own project or let us know if you need a donation project to quilt on. We have some available for you to complete.

Paper-pieced Secret Garden
Learn the paper-pieced method by piecing a mariner’s compass. We will complete a small wall hanging and when done, you will be an expert on this method. Stop in to sign up and pick up your supply list.

Mystery Quilt Weekend
Join us for a weekend of sewing a mystery quilt. Friday we will cut and begin our first few steps. Then return on Saturday to continue sewing and watch the mystery unfold before your eyes. Stop by to pick up your supply list. Bring a sack lunch and beverage, or we will make a subway run for you. Snacks provided.

Long Arm Certification Class
Learn to use the long arm machine and finish your own quilts on it. Take the one on one class and then you are able to rent out the machine. We will give you a practice quilt to give a try and learn how to use.

Donation Fabric
We will again be accepting donation fabrics to give to our area groups (3 of them) to make quilts with. Please drop off your fabric between Jan 25th – 30th. We will weight it and whatever it weighs you will get that discount in the store for that day (up to 30%) We appreciate your donations. The groups make good use of the material.

Small Wall hanging
Take this class to see how easy it is to make an appliqués wall hanging for your door or window. I have a variety of patterns to choose from the Patch Abilities line. Finished size is 6” x 22”. Stop in to see our samples and choose the one you like best. We have kits available for some of the patterns, or use up your own scraps.
